What's to come?

I am in the process of creating new sections for this web site, including how to articles and reviews, so please check back often as I wish to share my tips and tricks for working with Line 6 products. Also, look out for a review of the POD X3 or POD X3 Live as soon as I can get my hands on one!

My Guitar Setup

24/09/2007

From this list you'll see that I like collecting guitars, amps and effects. I've built this collection up since 1997 whilst trying to get the ultimate tone...but like most guitatist who like tinkering with these things, I'm still looking!

Although the POD XT Pro has a convinving model of the Fender Twin, there is something very special about the feel you get from playing through the real thing without all the digital processing. Therefore I chose to put the preamp of my twin in the GCX so that I can get a clean signal route using minimal effects.

The reason I started using the POD XT Pro in my live setup was to take advantage of the volume control and the ability to split my signal into both my amp and to the live desk. Soon after adding the unit to my rig I started messing with the amp models and was really impressed and have since added them in to my playing.
